Back, sorta.
It’s been a while. There’s stuff I want to write and share but the current post format — with its numerous text fields and the implicit requirement to write longer pieces — feels a prohibitive (this is the reason why tumblelogs are becoming popular, by the way).To quote Matt Mullenweg:
The format of a weblog dictates its writing. There is no getting around this.(While we’re at it, Jack Dorsey has a point too.)
Instead of feeling restrained by the format though, I’ll roll with it. (I’m too busy/bored to implement asides and I don’t want to start an account over at Tumblr.) It may look a bit odd using the post format to publish little snippets but hey, it’s the content that matters.
Finally: I may be publishing some posts in my native language, Greek. √ Aug 24th, 2007
