Helvetica

Douglas Coupland on “I Luv Helvetica” [via]:

Helvetica essentially takes any word or phrase and pressure-washes it into sterility. I love it.

I still can’t get myself to Helvetica in any of my designs (am I then only one who thinks that the only word that looks good in it is, uhm, “Helvetica”?). Current fonts of choice include Futura (Impact, when I care for cross-platform compatibility), Candara, Lucida Grande, Myriad Pro (as you can tell, I have a bias for sans-serif fonts).
